Dear Father,
I love You. As I sit here in the early hours of this new day, I pray that You awaken my spirit to be open to all You have for me today in work, play, worship and rest. Father, I am always so amazed at how You bring things together. You weave into the tapestry of my life extraordinarily beautiful threads and colors and designs and patterns.
I pray for Your guidance today. Fill me with hope for the future with Your Hand ever guiding me. Open my eyes to see those in need of a loving touch, a generous gesture, a word of encouragement, whatever Your leading is to further Your Kingdom on earth.
Make me aware of Your Presence in my life today. Give me a heart of joy and peace and happiness. Help me to leave the past in the past. Help me to live today, free of the past and not looking to tomorrow but relishing in the beauty of today. Whatever obstacles I face today I already am turning them over to You. Your will, not mine. I am in Your care. You only have love for me and I for You. Keep my eyes on You and only You. I cannot falter when I keep that as my guide. Thank you, Father, for your many mercies.
Amen

Lift Up Mine Eyes
24" x 48" Acrylic Abstract on Canvas

Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer they foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer they foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is they keeper: the LORD is they shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve they soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
